The women of The Pierians, Incorporated are practicing artists, educators, producers of the arts, and art lovers. They are particularly focused on advancing, sharing, and enjoying the artistic expression of the African American experience.

Whether it be literature, visual arts, theatre, dance, or music, the common denominator is a love for, interest in, and support of, the arts.
